Print Services
At Inverness Design Studio, we believe print still holds magic. The feel of a page, the weight of a business card, the impact of a well-hung poster — these physical forms communicate in a way digital alone never can.
Our print services combine creative design, technical expertise, and reliable production to bring your brand into people’s hands and spaces.

From brochures and annual reports, to posters, packaging, signage, business cards, and exhibition designs — we cover the full range of print deliverables with precision, style and clarity.

Brocure Design
Your story, in folds and spreads. We deliver elegantly laid-out, brand-coherent brochures and booklets that guide the reader through your message, balancing imagery, text and white space.
Each design is carefully optimised for print (bleed, margins, paper types) and links back to your broader brand identity.
Annual Report Design
Precision, clarity, and visual narrative for stakeholder communication. We translate dense financials, statistics and corporate messages into elegant layouts with infographics, consistent colour systems, and readable typography.
By blending editorial design with brand tone, your annual report becomes a compelling document that reinforces trust and transparency.

Flyer & Leaflet Design
Fast, impactful, and cost-effective promotional tools. We design flyers that capture attention, with strong headlines, clear calls-to-action, and layouts that scan well.
We adapt designs across formats (single sided, folded, multi-panel) so the message flows whether in hand or on a display rack.
Poster Design
Big messages, bold impact. Our poster designs focus on hierarchy and legibility from a distance, producing layouts that work outdoors or in interiors.
We also factor in finishing options (lamination, UV coating) and mounting formats to suit display contexts.

Stationery Design
Consistency in small things: business cards, letterheads, envelopes and compliment slips. We ensure your stationery reflects your brand in every detail — typography, logo placement, material.
You get print-ready files and guidance on paper stocks, finishes (matte, gloss, soft-touch) so your stationery looks premium in real life.
Event Materials
Everything from programmes, menus, flyers, tent cards, name badges, promotional kits or bundles. We treat each item as part of a unified theme so event visitors feel a cohesive brand experience.
Whether for a product launch, gala dinner or local show in Inverness, we scale up or down based on your event size and budget.

Signage Design
Signs that speak before you do. We design indoor and outdoor signage — shopfronts, vinyls, wayfinding, illuminated panels, and vehicle wraps — all carefully crafted for readability, material constraints, and local conditions.
We work with sign fabricators to ensure the designs are technically sound (substrate, weather resilience, mounting) and visually strong from every angle.
Business Card Design
Small format, big impression. We design cards that are memorable, on-brand, and tactile — choosing layout, paper, finishes (foil, spot UV, emboss) to reflect your business personality.
Each design comes print-ready and optimized so you avoid surprises at the print stage.

Packaging Design
Your product’s first handshake. We create packaging that protects, delights, and tells your story all at once. Structural design, dielines, graphics, materials, and sustainability are part of our thinking.
Good packaging helps your product stand out, lowers returns from damage, and can even become part of the unboxing experience your customers remember.
Exhibition Design
Designing immersive brand presence in 3D. From booth layout and traffic flow to display graphics, lighting, panels, flooring, and signage, we craft exhibition experiences that draw people in.
We consider modularity (ease of transport, reuse), branding consistency, and visitor engagement — so your exhibition assets are as strategic as they are beautiful.

Print Services FAQ's
What is included in your print services?
You’ll receive print-ready artwork files (usually high-resolution PDF, plus source files if needed) prepared with bleed, crop marks, and correct colour settings.
These files are ready for any professional printer to use without further design adjustments.
What file formats will I receive, and are they ready for print?
We typically deliver high-resolution PDFs that include all printer requirements (bleeds, crop marks, resolution) as well as the original design files (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator) when requested. This
This ensures your print partner can inspect, modify, or confirm technical compliance without having to rebuild the designs.
What information do you need from me to design properly for print?
We’ll need your brand assets (logo, colour palette, fonts), high-resolution imagery (if applicable), and any copy/text you want included.
It also helps if you can give us specs from your intended printer (paper stock, finish, any special requirements like die cuts or folding) so that designs are optimized from the start.
What if I already have artwork but it needs tweaking or corrections?
We’re happy to refine or correct existing designs — for example, layout adjustments, colour corrections, adding bleed or resolving file issues.
If the changes turn into more extensive rework or redesign, we’ll quote that additional work transparently in advance.
How long does the design process take before artwork is ready to send to a printer?
The timeline depends on project complexity and how quickly you supply your assets and feedback.
For simpler items (business cards, signage), the design might be done in a few days; more complex jobs (packaging, exhibition graphics) could take one to several weeks — we’ll specify the schedule in your quote.
