Agreed Scope of Work
Terms & Conditions
1. Scope & Variations: The Studio will provide the services explicitly listed in the Agreed Scope of Work. Any additional features, pages, or revisions requested outside of this framework will be quoted separately at our standard hourly rate of £35/hr.
2. Payment Terms: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure project scheduling and commence work. The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion, prior to final handover or site launch. We reserve the right to claim statutory interest on overdue amounts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Intellectual Property: Upon receipt of full and final payment, the Client assumes full ownership of the visual design and bespoke content produced. The Studio retains the right to display the final project within marketing materials and portfolios. Background code, external libraries, and third-party frameworks remain the property of their respective creators.
4. Liability & Warranties: The Studio’s total liability under this agreement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total project fee paid by the Client. The Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruption.
5. Data Protection (GDPR): Both parties mutually agree to comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR regarding any personal data processed during the execution of this project.
6. Governing Law: This agreement and any dispute arising out of it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
